Bob and his wife (managers) were very kind and compassionate! Bob worked very hard at keeping Riff Raff off of the property. Carla and Darla (housekeepers) even though Darla was nursing an injury was amazing and very attentive to everything I needed and they both were very good at keeping the place clean! There are many families there and they all include me like family. I will always appreciate the Avalon Motel! very nostalgic part of Fort Worth with an original water tower! Very hot water at all times(get it hot in sink 1st) which I have had a hard time finding at other small motels! some units have garages as well!
Location of jacksboro hey in fort worth. Rooms appear remodel in progress. Hard wood floors and flat screen TVs with a rather good selection of channels. Bathrooms were clean soap was provided. Clean towels. Bed large and soft. Will be returning.

Very quiet, and not much in and out allowed, and friendly staff and owner...
It was good for the price. The family that owned it were very nice to me. I stayed about 4 months. Fridge and microwave in some room. Showers and everything worked fine. Some issues with the toilet, but all in, I had a pleasant enough experience.
